Our curriculum intent for geography is that every child will: 

• have a good knowledge of location of significant places,
• understand physical and human characteristics and their interdependence and
• develop a wide geographical vocabulary. 

Geography alternates with History each half term. The fundamental role of the Courthouse geography curriculum is to ensure that children understand the world they live in. By studying a wide range of locations, places and environments, children develop a true sense of what is going on around them and the impact they can have.
