PE

Our curriculum intent for PE is that children will:

• develop a love of sport,
• develop an active lifestyle and
• develop leadership and teamwork.

 

Sport and other physical activities are an important part of the curriculum at Courthouse. Pupils have an hour of indoor P.E. and an hour of outdoor Games each week. In the summer term, one of these sessions will be used for swimming in our own shallow-water, heated swimming pool.  

 

In addition to curriculum time, pupils are encouraged to take part in active play through the outdoor gym equipment available at break and lunchtimes, and children can use the low-rope trail, traversing wall and low tight-ropes.
