Houses

Pupils are placed in one of four houses when they start at Courthouse. The houses are:

Beavers (green)

Eagles (blue)

Lions (yellow)

Owls (red)

We try to put pupils in the same house as siblings or relatives. Sometimes they follow in their parents' footsteps!

As part of our school uniform for P.E., we ask that pupils wear a polo shirt with the appropriate colour neck band, so that they can be readily put into groups during lessons and also distinguished at sporting events.

A weekly trophy is awarded during the Celebration Assembly on Friday afternoon, which recognises the success of the houses in gaining 'House Points' - these are awarded by any member of staff for good behaviour, politeness and table manners, as well as other good deeds at school.
