The Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations
On Friday 1st June 2012 we celebrated the Queen's Diamond Jubilee at school.
The day was declared a non-uniform day where children, staff and visiting parents dressed to a "Red White and Blue" theme.

After normal morning lessons lots of parents joined the children and staff on the sports field for our informal Jubilee picnic lunch.

At the Celebration Assembly in the afternoon Year3 and Year6 sang for us and we all sang some patriotic songs. Mr Holland kindly joined us to play the piano.

As a finale Mrs Williams sang Rule Britannia whilst waving her Welsh flag and the Union Jack - to great applause from everyone.
At the end of the day each child was given a Queen's Diamond Jubilee souvenir leather book mark.
